Vancouver Centennial Plaques 21 to 30

Thirty plaques researched, written up and drawn here.
I’m also posting everything on Instagram. However, you may have noticed that I’m dropping behind the other 100Dayers. Because each plaque has both a drawing *and* a blog article about it, it’s kind of like two projects at once. I *could* just do a daily drawing and leave the write-up till later, but I really want to share the history with everyone! So I’ve decided to take a breath and not worry about the timings. “Slow but steady” is now this project’s motto.
On with the pointless analysis!
I only found one more plaque actually installed this time, plus one that’s kept in the PNE archives, so we’re up to 63% missing now.
For the category of the “thing” being commemorated, places are still king, but we’ve got the first one for a person.
And neighbourhood-wise, the majority of the plaques are still Downtown, but there are more spreading out. You can explore the sites yourself on my map!
